Attendance

School begins at 8:44 am.  Please have your son/daughter at school on time.

Parents are reminded to contact the school by phone or signed note on or before the day of their child’s or children’s absences from school.  Parents must excuse an absence during the calendar week of that absence, otherwise it will not be excused.

The school has  a daily automated notification system that will call the home of the student who misses school.

All students are expected to be on time for all their classes.  Please access Powerschool to check which class or classes you child has missed in order to correct our records if a mistake has been made.  The website address is:  http://powerschool.gpcsd.ca/public/

St. Joe’s gives out monthly cash prizes and year end cash prizes for students with perfect attendance.  These prizes are donated by:  Swan City Rotary Clubs and the Servus Credit Union.
