Alexander Rutherford Scholarships

  • Amount:  up to $2500
  •   75% – 79.9% average 80.0%  or higher
    Grade 10 $300 $400
    Grade 11 $500 $800
    Grade 12 $700 $1300

Devon Canada Scholarship for Excellence in Science

  •  Amount: $500.00
  • Must be in their grade 12 year and have applied to pursue educational studies in a Science program at any post-secondary institution

Encana High School Educational Bursary

  • Amount:  $10,000 ($2500/yr. for up to 4 years)
  • Must be entering the Faculty of Engineering or Dept of Geology or Geophysics or a technical or trades program related to the oil and gas industry

Rotary Service Scholarships

  •  Amount:  $1000.00 (3 awarded each year)
  • Awarded for experiences in serving others, meeting challenges, working hard to develop a better high school community

Superintendent’s Scholarships

  •  Scholarship will be awarded based on the number of credits earned and other criteria:
  •  If you earned 120 to 129 credits, you may be eligible for $500
  • If you earned 130 to 139 credits, you may be eligible for $750
  • If you earned 140+ credits, you may be eligible for $1000

Mae Gorman Memorial Scholarship

  • Amount:  $500
  • Must be attending post secondary and excel in sport of basketball

Pat Gorman Memorial Scholarship

  • Amount:  $500
  • Must be attending post secondary and excel in sport of volleyball

 Grande Prairie and District Catholic ATA Local #42 Student Scholarship

  • Amount:  $500 each (4 scholarships)

P.V. Croken Scholarship:

  • Amount:  Varies
  • Application: no application is necessary. The principals of the high schools in Grande Prairie will determine the winner based on the highest 5 diploma examination marks.

Grande Prairie and District Catholic Foundation Scholarships

Bill Dunne Memorial Scholarship  $500

  •  Interest in the field of computers and technology

 Dragon Palace Scholarship  $500

  •  Highest academic student based on average marks

Elizabeth Grant Memorial Scholarship $500

  •  Registered in a teacher education program at a post-secondary institution

 Greg Lancaster Memorial Scholarship  $500

  •  Leadership, commitment and community involvement in the field of sports

Mary Wild Scholarship $200

  •  Faith commitment and active participation and leadership in the Catholic community

 Trades & Technology Studies Scholarship $500

  • Highest average marks in C.T.S. courses and/or registered apprenticeship [RAP] program, work experience, green certificate (grades 11 and 12)

Foundation Citizenship Scholarship  $1000

  • Academic achievement
  • Goodwill and cooperation (specific examples)
  • Leadership qualities (specific examples)
  • Extra-curricular involvement such as (specific examples):  church – Christian life; sports; committees, clubs and social events; student leadership contributions.

Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union (CEP), Local 328 – Annual Trades Bursary  $750

  •  Must be registered in a recognized trade
