FNMI Support Worker:

SCHOOL COUNSELLORS assist with:
- Personal and academic counseling
- Referrals to outside agencies (i.e.: AADAC, AB Mental Health, Catholic Family Services, PACE, Child Welfare, professional counselling agencies)
- Career exploration information
- Information of post secondary schooling and scholarships
COMMUNITY RESOURCE TEAM
The following agencies are available once a week to meet with individual students and/or do presentations. Referral forms are available from School Counselors

Child & Family Services CATHOLIC FAMILY SERVICES, SCHOOL/COMMUNITY LIAISON PROGRAM WORKER
Program staff responds to referrals from school staff, outside agencies or parents regarding students who are experiencing emotional or behavioural problems at school or in the home.
Service Provided
- Support for students/families who are experiencing difficulties
- Home visits to assess problems and seek solutions
- Information for families on agencies available to help
- Liaison with schools and other agencies in the community
- Referrals to the program can be made through the school or by contacting the worker directly at 532-9381.
FNMI STUDENT SUPPORT WORKER
Service Provided
- Help students plan for and achieve requirements for graduation, and career aspirations.
- Serve as a communication link between home and school.
- Promote positive awareness of Native people and traditions for all staff and students through various events and activities.
